Baroness Henig CBE

Chair

The current President of the Security Institute, Baroness Henig joined SecuriGroup after completing two successful terms as Chair of the Home Office Regulator, the SIA. Her commitment to security and policing is well documented having held the post of Chair of Lancashire Police Authority and the Chair of the Association of Police Authorities in England and Wales which led to the award of a CBE in 2000 for services to policing.

As a Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords, Baroness Henig takes her place on the European Security Committee on Foreign Affairs and is a member of the Independent Policing Commission.

Alan Morton

Chief Executive

Alan has been at the helm of the Company since its founding, leading it to its current position as one of the UK’s fastest growing security companies. As Chief Executive, he takes overall responsibility for corporate and financial strategies. Alan continues to shape and lead SecuriGroup’s corporate strategy through weekly Executive meetings with the team in order to focus on all aspects of the organisation, and cascade best practice, in addition to chairing regular Board meetings.

Russel Kerr BSc (Hons) MSyl

Managing Director

A graduate of the University of Aberdeen, Russel joined the board of SecuriGroup in 2001 before his appointment as Managing Director in 2003. His role at SecuriGroup involves oversight of statutory compliance and corporate risk, IT, and communications.

Russel is a member of the Security Institute, and is an Executive Committee Member, as well as Regional Chair of the British Security Industry Association, and Co-Chair of CSSC Scotland. He continues to support best industry practice by working closely with the sector’s Home Office Regulator, having held a number of positions including the Security Industry Authority’s Strategic Consultation Group and Quality Standards Committee.

Allan Burnett QPM BSc (Hons) FSyI

Group Strategy Director

Allan joined SecuriGroup in 2010 following a distinguished 30-year policing career.  He is a graduate of the Police Bramshill Command Course and held Police chief officer positions in a number of the highest profile events, and was the lead for Counter Terrorism in Scotland.

He has transformed Operations in terms of structure, policy and procedure, with a focus on clients and staff. He successfully led the Company’s successful COVID-19 response, and is now continuing his quest for continuous improvement across a range of issues including training and development, use of technology, and effective tasking and coordination. He is a regular presenter on security topics notably counter terrorism, and also contributes to the media on his specialist topics.

David Wilson

National Operations Director

David, originally from Northern Ireland, joined the company as a part-time Door Supervisor whilst studying at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Following a sabbatical year - where he served as VP of the Student’s Association and VP of SUSF - he joined the company full-time as an Area Manager in June 2000 with responsibility for Leisure and Retail in Edinburgh.

Progressing through the organisation, David was appointed to the role of Operations Director in 2008 – overseeing the successful delivery of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014.

In his current role, David is responsible for operational strategy for SGL and has operational responsibility for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Andrew McAllister BA

Client Services Director 

Andrew McAllister has been involved with the security industry since 1993 and joined Up Front Security in 1997 after graduating with a BA in Marketing. Andrew applied his skills and extensive knowledge of the industry and attained the role of Operations Director in 1999. His efforts contributed to the ongoing success of Up Front and helped to establish it as a leading security provider. 

Andrew has now taken up the role of Client Services Director and is responsible for group sales, marketing, client retention and public relations.

Dr Mark Hamilton FdA MA

Director

Mark Hamilton brings over 40 years’ experience of security, safety and crowd management to SecuriGroup. During his long and varied career, Mark has held responsibility for security at a number of illustrious sporting events across the world, including Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, the British Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone, the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Grand National, Aintree, and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

In addition, Mark has managed the security and crowd management of a number of high-profile music events including T in the Park, V Festival and Live 8, and was awarded the Nordoff Robbins Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution to the live music industry. Mark employs his unparalleled experience in his role at SecuriGroup to ensure we continue to deliver ‘best in class’ security services to our events clients.

Mike Still

Director

Mike brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance and risk management industry, having been a Managing Director of Marsh and previously Aon.

His areas of expertise include transport, construction, retail, and food and beverage, developed through the management of risk and insurance advice. 

Mike is also a director and trustee of Business in the Community and chair of the Business Emergency Resilience Group (BERG) for HRH The Prince of Wales.

His expertise in business resilience, management of risk, and his extensive network will add further depth to the board, support the organisation's growth goals, and further establish the company's outstanding reputation for service delivery.

Peter Nokes

Operations Director

Beginning his career with SecuriGroup in 2000, Peter is one of the company’s most experienced employees. 

Peter was appointed to National Operations Manager in 2012 which included operational responsibility for the company’s leisure division SGL. In 2014 he was SecuriGroup’s Senior Manager responsible for the Ryder Cup ensuring the safety and security of over 250,000 spectators.

In the summer of 2018, Peter was responsible for our support of the prestigious European Championships.  His role also encompasses operational strategy for both the London & the South-East and Scotland regions with oversight of the daily deployment of 1,700 employees.

Jonathan Greenlees

Finance Director

As an experienced Chartered Management Accountant, Jonathan joined the organisation in 2016.  As the interim Finance Director during this period, his appointment reflects a long-term plan for the organisation as it continues to expand its operations.

A natural leader with significant expertise developed through a number of prestigious posts, including New York Stock Exchange-listed companies, Jonathan brings a great deal of experience to our accomplished finance teams.

David Waddell MIFSM

Technical Director

Our systems department is led by Technical Director David Waddell, a security specialist in business fire & security systems. Working in the private security industry since 1999, David changed his focus to the growing electronic security industry.

David has an extensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies and is an expert in sourcing and installing electronic fire and security equipment.

He brings years of experience in surveying and consultancy and is an active member of The Institute of Fire Safety Managers.

Elliott Husband

Commercial Director

Leading the Company's Commercial team, Elliott has made a lasting impact on both staff and clients since joining the organisation in 2013, playing a key role in developing and maintaining client relationships.

He continues to drive the success of the business as part of the Executive team, supporting the Company’s reputation for excellence through his industry knowledge and commercial awareness.

Susanne Parker

Director of Business Operations

Joining SecuriGroup in 2016, Susanne brings years of senior management experience to the company.

As Business Operations Director, Susanne will continue to offer diverse and expert insight, managing head office functions in support of front-line operations.

Susanne chairs the Training Committee, where she maintains her strong focus on developing staff through training initiatives, strengthening our company culture and unifying our services.
