Russel Kerr appointed as Co-Chair of CSSC Scotland
Working alongside Assistant Chief Constable Gary Ritchie of Police Scotland, SecuriGroup's Managing Director, Russel Kerr, has been appointed as Co-Chair of Cross-sector Safety and Security Communications (CSSC) Scotland.
The inaugural meeting of the Board will take place in July, with representatives from Fire Scotland, the Scottish Government, and a range of private sector businesses including NatWest Group, SSE, Vodafone, and Forth Ports. The Board will be responsible for providing strategic direction to CSSC Scotland, and help to facilitate the sharing of security and resilience information to over 95 industry sectors.
Russel's appointment underlines SecuriGroup's commitment to CSSC across the UK as it ensures the sharing of high quality and informative intelligence to help keep businesses and people safe, with an early focus on the upcoming UN Climate Conference, COP 26, delivering on the Company's core purpose of Strengthening Society.
